May 2010

Our first chilli flower - a Czech Black.  We have 20 different varieties of chilli’s and peppers growing both inside the poly and outside in the ground.

We found him whilst hoeing our onions - a Fire Salamandar.  They live in hilly parts of Southern Europe and like to hide in the fallen leaves of deciduous trees and can grow to up to 8 inches long.

A field of clover and other meadow flowers - takes you back to your childhood.  Where possible we have left some areas untouched to encourage wildlife and insects to our land.

Our farm is full of brightly coloured butterflies - this one liked our tomatoes.

Temp on average between 18 - 20 degrees - sun sun sun with a drizzly week in the middle
