We’ve decided on the best location on the property to build our polytunnels, as the picture shows we have cleared all brambles, stones, bamboo etc, and are now ready to begin the initial build of Poly 1 |

We have 4 willow trees on site and they all looked spectacular in January in their golden winter coats. They will soon be harvested by a local Portuguese man to make baskets and other willow products |

Its only January, the sun is out and the daisies are already flowering - for us Brits this is Summer coming early! |

Buy or build???? We decided to build, and after much discussion and trawling through the internet on the best way to do this we are almost ready to put on the polythene covering |

Temp on average between 10 - 13 degrees - a bit of rain and a bit of sun - we were working in T-shirts and the locals thought we were mad but great weather for us Brits working outside! |
